Post holiday blues..?

Coming back from a fabulous holiday can be something most people dread, and I used to be one of those people. I used to get on a real downer even with the thought of a holiday ending, but not now. Ok, so having my boys Ted and Ralph (cats not kids!) to come home to has made all the difference (never thought I would be a cat-mum). And I also think with that positive mindset, has brought with it a feeling of excitement of what's to come when I get home. Strange to say this out loud but it's true.

Before I went away I was a right mess, I don't mind admitting - bloated, eye infection in both eyes, sciatica, exhausted and a little bit narky with my other half - my body's way of telling me I needed a break!

By having a complete rest whilst away has really helped to clear my head and give me focus on what I want to do between now and the end of the year - both personally and professionally.

And it's now it's time to step out of my comfort zone...I've given myself 8 weeks to see what I can achieve with my shape, and I've booked a photoshoot as the end goal - eeeeekkkkkk!!!!!

The sciatica is still niggling so I will be looking at ways to train that won't aggravate it and to keep consistent with my stretching routine. I'm working with the fab Dane Hitchon who will ensure I keep on track and check in with on a weekly basis.

I've completed my first full week of training and calorie deficit and, although I'm hurting from the eyelids down,

I feel great, loving my weight training, getting through my cardio (not one of my favs!), feeling in control and focused on the end goal.

I'll keep you posted on my progress - not just the good stuff but the frustrating stuff too!

Stay tuned!
